Hey, I'm Dan.
Self-taught developer. Former small business operator. I build the tools I wish I had.

My Story
I've been building things on the internet since I was a teenager. What started as curiosity turned into a career, though not the straight line you'd expect. Before I wrote code full-time, I worked in retail, tourism, marketing, and graphic design.
That background is why I build differently. I've sat in the chair you're sitting in. I've managed small businesses, dealt with broken booking systems, fought with WordPress, and wasted money on tools that didn't fit. When I finally switched to development full-time, I already knew exactly what small businesses need, because I'd needed it myself.
Today I build custom websites, booking systems, and digital tools for businesses all over the world. Every project starts with the same question: what's slowing you down?
How I Think About Projects
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all. A physiotherapy practice has different needs than a surf school, and both are different from an e-commerce brand. I take the time to understand how your business actually works before writing a single line of code.
I'm not an agency. You talk directly to me, I build it, and I stick around to make sure it keeps working.
What I Work With
I pick the right tool for the job, not whatever's trendy. Most projects end up on a similar stack though:
