Overview
Get Pork'd started as a tool I built for myself because I was tired of dreading invoicing. Writing invoices in Excel, tracking them across documents, and chasing payments was a pain. I wanted something that made invoicing fast, easy, and even enjoyable. What started as a personal project grew into a full SaaS platform that other people now use too.
The Challenge
Invoicing as a freelancer meant juggling Excel spreadsheets, Google Docs, and random templates. There was no overview of expenses, no easy way to prepare taxes, no recurring invoice automation, and no way to track whether a client had paid. The process was slow, error-prone, and easy to forget — leading to late invoices and lost revenue. I needed something that removed the friction entirely.
The Solution
I built Get Pork'd from scratch as a full invoicing and finance platform. It covers writing and sending invoices in a few clicks, expense tracking, tax preparation, analytics on revenue and outstanding payments, multiple invoice templates and languages, e-invoice support (XRechnung/ZUGFeRD), automatic sending of recurring invoices, and real-time status tracking so you always know who paid and who hasn't. The entire flow is designed to take minutes, not hours — from creating an invoice to sending it.
Results
Invoicing went from something I dreaded to something I look forward to. A few clicks and it's done. No more forgotten invoices, no more Excel chaos. Recurring invoices send themselves, I have a clear overview of my finances, and tax time is no longer stressful. Other people are using it now too, which validates that the pain point wasn't just mine.
